Process Serving:
Restraining Orders / PPO’s

Do you need a Restraining / Personal Protection Order served? Wolverine Defense Academy can do that for you. We can serve these papers in the Greater Kalamazoo Area. The price you pay will have us make at least 3 solid attempts to locate and personally serve the defendant at various times on various dates. While we strive to have these served within 24 hours, sometimes it can take a few days for us to track the defendant down and effect personal service. We will keep you informed of the status as soon as it’s been served, or if we’re running into problems. (**PLEASE NOTE, A PPO IS IN EFFECT FROM THE MOMENT THE JUDGE GRANTS IT, REGARDLESS IF THE DEFENDANT HAS BEEN SERVED YET OR NOT. MAKE SURE YOU CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY IF THE DEFENDANT MAKES ANY CONTACT WITH YOU WHILE THE PAPER IS OUT FOR SERVICE!**)

**It will be considered a rush service if you must have the paper served sooner than 7 days. Our servers need time to track the defendant down and effect personal service.

For other areas not within Kalamazoo County, we will create a custom quote and price for the service if falls within our extended service area. Please call or e-mail us to discuss your case and we will do what it takes to get your papers served.

Cost: $75 (Greater Kalamazoo Area only) (Out of Area, Rush Service, Credit/Debit Card payments, & us returning the proof of service to the court for you, will all increase the price, please call for custom pricing)
